Electronic Sustainability Implementation System (ESIS).

The aim of the ESIS solution to Mining Companies is to build an interactive and
holistic management and reporting system, which incorporates all of Mining
Companies', Human Resources (HR) and Social (SLP and the Mining Charter
Compliance) information and requirements, into a common implementation,
management and reporting environment. |
|
|
|
|
|
The reporting function enables reporting on all the initiatives and action plans as contained in the SLP and on achieving compliance with implementing the pillars of the Mining Charter, in terms of the Mining Scorecard, and the MPRDA. The solution is user-friendly and supplies easy reporting to the Department of Minerals and Energy (DMR).

1 Step 1: Research and assessment of baseline socio-economic data, SLP related programmes and IT systems. Undertake a Baseline Socio-Economic Survey (BSES) if necessary.

2 Step 2: Design and development of the Mining Company X ESIS according to the needs and requirements of the company.

3 Step 3: Installation, roll-out and implementation of the ESIS in the Mining Company X environment.
